Burleigh Heads has two main attributes that make it such a popular place to stay. The National Park on the headland is beautiful and the headland itself creates a point break that is very popular with surfers. The beach itself is quite magnificent and is another of the famous Gold Coast beaches that is lined by beautiful accommodation resorts. The esplanade here is separated from the beach by a pine tree covered parkland and all the accommodation resorts have views of the park and the beach if you can book one of the east facing apartments.

Burleigh Heads has two shopping ares, one at the beach itself which provides excellent shopping and dining within walking distance of the most popular accommodation and the second is a plaza style shopping complex a little further inland. The second is great if you are wanting to do grocery shopping and the like. In any event, Burleigh Heads is a great holiday destination and the accommodation is excellent.
