Daydream Island resort and spa is located in the heart of the Whitsundays. It is the closest Island resort to the mainland and is only 15 minutes by Blue Ferries to Shute harbour on the mainland. The resort is focused on the rejuvenation and spa market and its facilities are second to none. Daydream Island consists of 269 rooms including 9 suites. There are 3 swimming pools, 3 spa’s plus 3 restaurants and 3 bars. It sounds like a line from a song doesn’t it. Well you will sing the praises of the resort after your next holiday there. The island is easily accessed from southern cities or from Cairns, with regular air services to the Great Barrier Reef airport on Hamilton Island and ferry transfers. The resort can also be accessed from Shute Harbour on the mainland and by flights to Whitsunday Airport at Proserpine.
