What to expect
You'll be picked up and driven to the helipad, then strap in for a 30-minute flight. The pilot flies low enough to spot the distinctive swirling patterns of Hill Inlet and the brilliant white sands of Whitehaven Beach. You'll cruise past multiple islands and get a full perspective of the archipelago's scale and geography. Commentary comes through your headset so you can hear over the rotor noise. After landing, you're driven back. Total time commitment is around 90 minutes including transfers.
