What to expect
Arrive at the Mount Cottrell venue and kit up with helmet and safety gear. Your instructor briefs you on what's coming, then you're in the passenger seat as they push the rally car through its paces across three timed laps. Expect rapid acceleration, sharp cornering, gravel slides and genuine speed—this isn't a leisurely spin. The whole experience takes 30 minutes from brief to finish. Weather dependent; if conditions turn, you'll be offered a reschedule.
Good to know
Wear long trousers and closed shoes—no exceptions. Height/weight limits apply (under 6'5" and under 135kg). Not suitable if you have spinal injuries. Located 40 minutes' drive from central Melbourne; arrange your own transport to the track. DVDs available separately for purchase.
