About this tour
A private 10-hour drive from Sydney into the Hunter Valley, where your group of up to seven taps into the region's boutique winemaking scene. You'll stop at four wineries selected by the operator, sampling varied grape styles and winemaking approaches. The itinerary leaves room for optional detours to a micro-brewery or distillery if you fancy craft beer or spirits alongside the wine. Hotel pickup and drop-off from central Sydney is included; lunch and tastings at optional stops fall to you.

What to expect
You'll be picked up from your Sydney hotel in the morning and driven north into the Hunter Valley's vineyard landscape. At each of the four wineries, expect short tastings of their current releases—reds, whites, and blends typical of the region. Staff will walk you through each pour. Breaks between wineries give you breathing room and a chance to chat with your guide about what you've tasted. If you've booked optional extras, the micro-brewery or distillery stops slot in as time allows. Lunch is your responsibility; the guide can suggest spots. The return to Sydney happens in late afternoon.
Good to know
Confirm dietary needs and any winery preferences before booking—choosing your own venues may incur extra fees and requires advance notice. Tasting fees at the operator's regular wineries are included; bring cash for lunch and optional extras. Public transport nearby if you need it. Child seats are compulsory under seven.
