What to expect
Your driver collects you in the morning and heads south through quiet country towns toward the vines. Once in McLaren Vale, you'll visit a mix of established and smaller producers, stopping to taste wines in their cellars or tasting rooms. If winemakers are available, you may stand at the barrel racks sampling straight from the wood—a chance to understand how wines develop before bottling.
