What to expect

You'll board Matador and spend two days at sea amongst Queensland's island chain. Days combine sailing, snorkelling at reef sites, and shore visits. The crew encourages participation in sail handling if you're keen, though lounging on deck is equally valid. Meals are cooked fresh daily using local ingredients—expect hearty pasta, salads, and fruit. Nights you'll sleep aboard; mornings bring coffee and breakfast before another round of reef time or exploration. Weather dictates exact timings and which sites you visit. Snorkelling gear is provided; the reef teems but requires respect.

Good to know

Bring your own snacks and alcohol. Advise dietary needs when booking. Weather can alter departure or return times; poor conditions may prompt rescheduling with full refund option. All fitness levels welcome. If you miss the boat due to late arrival, no refund applies.
