What to expect

Days begin with dawn snorkelling over coloured coral gardens teeming with fish, then progress through kayaking, further reef exploration, and evening activities like listening to humpback whale calls through the hydrophone. Lynne and John personally guide every excursion, sharing insights built from decades studying the reef as citizen scientists. Meals appear on deck throughout the day—proper cooking happens aboard, not reheated provisions. Evenings often involve stargazing from the deck or reviewing the day's observations using the library. The pace is unrushed; you decide whether to dive again or relax between activities.

Good to know

All reef fees and permits are included. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a light layer for sun protection. Alcoholic and soft drinks cost extra but are reasonably priced. The boat suits all fitness levels. Infants must remain on an adult's lap. Public transport reaches the departure point.
