What to expect

You'll start with proper abseiling tuition and gear fitting, then head into the canyon system. The day mixes technical rope descents with sections where you'll scramble over rocks, wade through pools, and swim in the deeper sections. The crew keeps things steady—safety is woven into every moment, not just mentioned. Expect to get thoroughly wet and muddy. The rainforest canopy filters the light beautifully, and the water is genuinely cold and clear. Most of the five hours is active movement rather than standing around.

Good to know

Minimum age is 8 years old (adults must supervise children). You need basic swimming ability and reasonable fitness—this isn't a casual walk. Not suitable if you have spinal issues, heart concerns, or are pregnant. Photos and video aren't included; hire shoes separately if needed. Wetsuits provided during winter months.
