What to expect
Day one is a waterfall circuit through lush tablelands. You'll stop at multiple swimming spots with time to cool off in natural pools, broken up by morning and afternoon tea breaks. The pace is relaxed—expect plenty of standing around waterfalls and wading rather than serious hiking. Day two shifts deeper into rainforest. The Daintree River cruise is slow and observational; bring binoculars for birdwatching. Forest walking is on marked paths at gentle gradients. Weather is tropical year-round, so expect humidity and occasional rain. The air-conditioned vehicle provides relief between stops.
Good to know
Bring swimwear, towel and water shoes for waterfall visits. Sun protection essential despite tree cover. Children under two don't receive meals; pack accordingly. The tour suits all fitness levels but involves regular short walks. Hotel pickups run early; confirm your collection time the day before.
