About this tour
Paddle out to a secluded NSW South Coast camp and spend the night in a working waterside setup. This two-day guided tour covers kayak fundamentals, campcraft basics, and all logistics so you focus on paddling, swimming, and eating well. Small groups mean real instruction and slower pace—ideal if you've never sat in a sea kayak or pitched a tent. Everything's supplied: boat, sleeping kit, meals cooked by your guides. Moderate fitness required.
Highlights
- Sea kayak instruction for complete beginners
- Paddle through marine wildlife hotspot to remote camp
- Learn tent pitching and camp cooking with guides

- All meals cooked on-site by experienced guides
- Swim and fish from your private beach camp
What to expect
Day one involves loading your kayak thoughtfully, then paddling several hours to your sheltered campsite whilst your guides point out local birds and marine life. You'll haul gear ashore, erect your tent on firm ground, and swim or wade whilst dinner cooks. Day two: sunrise, breakfast, paddle back at a relaxed tempo. The guides handle navigational decisions; you handle the paddle work and camp chores. Expect sore shoulders if you're new to paddling, genuine tiredness at night, and salt-spray in your hair. Camping toilets are basic but functional.
Good to know
Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a change of clothes in a dry bag. Moderate fitness means you should manage a three-hour paddle without training. Guides do heavy lifting—boat loading, tent setup—but you'll participate. Cold water swims are optional. Photography provided; phone reception unlikely.
