This 10-hour 4WD journey through Western Australia's Pinnacles Desert and Turquoise Coast goes where coach tours can't. What to expect

You'll spend most of your time either in the 4WD or on foot exploring desert formations and beaches. The driver picks routes based on conditions and your group's interests rather than a fixed script, so timing is flexible. Expect some rough tracks and uneven terrain during walks—this isn't a paved-path experience. Lunch is sit-down with actual chairs and views; mornings start with hot drinks at a quieter spot before the day's driving begins. The final leg ends at dunes with a cold beer, gin, or juice as the light changes.

Moderate fitness required due to uneven ground and walking. Not suitable for spinal injuries or cardiovascular concerns. Wear enclosed shoes, hat, and sunglasses. Bring swimwear if you plan to enter the water. All park fees and listed refreshments are included; anything extra is separate.
