What to expect

You'll cover serious ground—expect 6–8 km walks daily through rocky terrain, gorges, and open plains. Temperatures swing dramatically; days are hot and exposed, nights cool. Accommodation is genuine outback: either a twin-share safari tent with proper bedding or a canvas swag (bedroll). Good to know

Moderate-to-advanced fitness required; those over 75 need a doctor's certificate. Not suitable for young children (under 8), pregnant travellers, or anyone with spinal or heart conditions.
