Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s leading tourist destinations. Noosa is famous as a high class, chic holiday destination with a fabulous beach and unmatched holiday ambience. The Hastings St precinct which runs along the oceanfront is alive with great accommodation, sensational restaurants and a huge range of excellent cafés and boutiques. This is definitely the place to be seen when you holiday on the east coast. The Noosa national park borders the town on the southern side and everything is within walking distance. In the park are several great beaches and the point surf there is world renowned, especially when a big swell is running in from the east. There is also a wild koala population in the park so this is one of the few places in Australia where you can see them in their natural state. The Noosa river forms the northern boundary to the Noosa area and in its upper reaches are a great day tour destination.

The best places to stay leaves nothing to be desired. Here you will find a range that extends from backpacker hostels through to palatial hotel rooms. There is a terrific range of resorts and self contained apartment style accommodation, much of it within walking distance of the beach and the Hastings St area. There are also a number of nearby attractions that you should visit while you are in Noosa. The Eumundi Markets are nearby and this is a fabulous shopping experience. The late Steve Irwins Australia Zoo is nearby and they have a door to door pick up service from your accommodation. Underwater World in Mooloolaba is also a great place to entertain the kids for a day. The Sunshine Coast in general is famous for its surfing beaches so you can try a different one every day if you wish.

The Sunshine coast and Noosa are very easy to access. There is a domestic airport at Maroochydore and most resorts offer a free pick up service. Regular flights arrive from southern capitals every day. For international visitors you can fly into Brisbane from most locations and ground transportation to the Sunshine Coast is readily available via a modern motorway. Regular coach services from both the north and south all service the Sunshine coast so there are plenty of options for you to choose from. We can also help with rental cars from all of the major centers.
