DAY 1 :: KATA TJUTA & ULURU
We make our start exploring the intriguing landforms of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and hiking the Valley of the Winds. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is spectacular, and we get there in time to see the rich desert colours changing as the sun sets, with a glass of sparkling wine to top it off! A hearty dinner and some star-gazing at our permanent campsite is the perfect way to end the evening. (D) |
